Shanna Roeske

Before becoming a Realtor, Shanna Roeske worked as a full-time elementary school teacher for 11 years. As it turns out, teaching served as the perfect way to prepare her for a career as a Realtor. She likes to say that teaching taught her to be patient, while real estate has taught her perseverance. 

Having lived in Arizona for all but four years of her life, Shanna considers herself an Arizona native. She and her family briefly relocated while Shanna was in high school, but given her love of the area, it made sense for her to return to Arizona for college. 

In 2000, she graduated with her bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Mass Communication and Sociology from Arizona State University. She later returned to school at Rio Salado College in 2012, receiving her post-baccalaureate degree in elementary education K-8.

Shanna takes great pride in her late-stage career transition into real estate. She likes to use her story to show her kids that it's never too late to change paths and do the thing you've always wanted to do. For Shanna, real estate felt like her true calling, as her father is a retired homebuilder that even aided in Ahwatukee's development in the 1970s and ‘80s. 

When it came time to find the perfect brokerage, Shanna was instantly drawn to Berkshire Hathaway because of their sound values and strong sense of integrity. Because of her extensive background in the education field, Shana now specializes in teacher services for The Santistevan Group. 

Approachable, honest, and caring, Shanna's clients immediately feel at ease in her presence. As a people person, Shanna loves working with people face-to-face—she's not the type to simply sit behind a desk or talk on the phone. A big part of the industry is building relationships, and many of Shanna's clients go on to become her lifelong friends!

In her spare time, Shanna likes hanging out with her husband and their two exceptional children, Tatum and Kolter. They love to do activities together as a family, like riding ATVs, visiting the beach, and supporting their favorite sports teams (as an ASU alumna, you might find some pitchforks around their house!). 

Passionate about her hometown and community, Shanna also regularly volunteers at local food pantries to help families in need.
